The international organization “Who Is Hussain?” has launched an environmental initiative in Parachinar inspired by the values of mercy, generosity and social responsibility associated with Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

Marking World Cleanup Day under the theme “Together Towards a Greener Environment,” the organization’s local team held awareness sessions focused on cleanliness, tree planting and environmental conservation.

Volunteers also planted trees and cleaned public spaces, turning environmental awareness into practical community action. Organizers said the campaign reflects the values of service, collective responsibility and care for humanity embodied by the Hussaini movement.

The initiative received enthusiastic participation from local residents and aimed to promote a culture of environmental stewardship, volunteerism and community service.

“Who Is Hussain?” said caring for the environment is also a form of serving humanity and preserving life. The campaign forms part of the organization’s wider humanitarian and community initiatives around the world, which seek to translate the values inspired by Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) into practical service for communities of all backgrounds.
