The Imam Hussain Cultural Center in Islamabad welcomed a delegation of Information Technology students from universities across Punjab for an educational and cultural visit aimed at introducing them to the Center’s mission, programs, activities, and scholarly initiatives. The visit also highlighted the Center’s efforts to engage young people and harness modern technology in the cultural, intellectual, and educational fields.

The delegation was received by the Center’s Director, Dr. Muhammad Askari, who delivered an introductory presentation outlining the Center’s objectives, mission, and major programs and activities in the scientific, cultural, and intellectual spheres.

During the visit, the students were introduced to a range of initiatives organized by the Center, including academic and intellectual seminars and lectures, conferences, training programs, research projects, cultural publications, and programs specifically designed to engage and empower youth.

The delegation was also briefed on the educational, scientific, and cultural projects undertaken by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. The presentation highlighted the objectives and areas of these initiatives, as well as their contribution to advancing education and culture and promoting awareness among younger generations.

A key part of the discussion focused on the role of information technology and modern digital tools in disseminating Islamic knowledge and culture and communicating scholarly and cultural messages to young people in ways that respond to contemporary needs. The discussion also explored potential opportunities for IT specialists to contribute their expertise to these efforts.

The visiting students expressed considerable interest in the Center’s programs and projects and engaged in an interactive discussion, raising questions about its activities, operations, and initiatives. Their questions were addressed by the Center’s representatives, providing further insight into its work and areas of engagement.

At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and commended the Imam Hussain Cultural Center’s efforts in the scientific, cultural, and intellectual fields. They also emphasized the value of such visits in strengthening connections among cultural institutions, universities, and young people.

As a gesture of appreciation, the Imam Hussain Cultural Center presented each participating student with a copy of The Biography of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). The gift was intended to encourage continued reading and reflection on the life, principles, and values of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
