Dr. Hamid Choi Young-Kil, a Muslim researcher from South Korea, has completed a comprehensive Korean translation of the Holy Quran following seven years of dedicated research and work.

The translation was undertaken to make Quranic concepts more accessible to Korean readers while providing an accurate reference for Muslims, scholars, and researchers of Islamic studies in South Korea.

According to the Interfaith Dialogue Institute’s Telegram channel, the publication marks a significant step toward strengthening Quranic education in Korea, where resources on Islam in the Korean language remain relatively limited.

The completed translation is expected to become a valuable resource for South Korea’s Muslim community, as well as for readers and researchers seeking to deepen their understanding of the Quran and Islamic teachings.
