Al-Abbas Holy Shrine hosted its annual festival for Arbaeen pilgrims from across Africa at the Imam Al-Hasan Hall, bringing together pilgrims and seminary students to reflect on the message of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the values of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

Festival supervisor Al-Hasan Muhammad Nahari of Nigeria said the shrine has consistently supported pilgrims from African countries through a range of services. He noted that the event was held at the Imam Al-Hasan Hall with the approval of the shrine's Senior Official, Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi.

Nahari said the gathering provided an opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge and discuss the principles and lessons embodied by Arbaeen, while expressing appreciation for the shrine's continued support.

Sheikh Ayoub Adam Omar, a Nigerian seminary student, said the festival is held annually on the 21st of Safar under the theme "The Message of Hussain (peace be upon him)." It brings together pilgrims from Nigeria and other African nations, as well as seminary students from Karbala and Najaf.

He said Al-Abbas Holy Shrine continued hosting of the event has helped strengthen its educational and cultural mission while reflecting the shrine's commitment to serving pilgrims of diverse nationalities and fostering unity through faith and knowledge.
