Al-Abrar Hussainiya opens as new center for Hussaini gatherings in Istanbul
The Imam Hussain Center continued its outreach to the Iraqi community and followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in Istanbul by participating in a mourning ceremony at the newly established Al-Abrar Hussainiya in the Kayaşehir district. The gathering commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Al-Hussain Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him).
Sabah Al-Taliqani, director of the Imam Hussain Center, said the ceremony was held in a spiritual atmosphere and included the recitation of Ziyarat Ashura, with broad participation from worshippers.
The event concluded with the raising of the flag from the dome of Imam Hussain's Holy Shrine, allowing attendees to receive its blessings before it was taken to the women's prayer hall. The ceremony ended with Hussaini chants reaffirming devotion to the Ahlulbayt and the continued observance of Hussaini rituals.
