King Charles III visited Cambridge Central Mosque, Europe's first eco-mosque, highlighting its environmentally sustainable design and role as a hub for worship and community engagement.

According to the Royal Family, the mosque is recognized for its architectural excellence, environmental leadership, and energy-efficient features, including renewable energy systems that significantly reduce carbon emissions.

During his visit to Cambridge, the King also officially opened the New Whittle Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, a research center focused on advancing aerospace and sustainable energy technologies through innovation and industry collaboration.
