Warith Al-Anbiya School in Islamabad, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, held its first annual awards ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of its inaugural academic year. The event was attended by religious scholars, academics, community leaders, parents and students.

The school is the first educational institution in Pakistan to operate under the supervision of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and serves as an extension of the Quranic and educational project founded by the late Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsin Ali Al-Najafi.

Established in April 2025 through cooperation between Al-Kawthar University and the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, the school aims to combine religious education with modern scientific studies.

The ceremony was attended by the Representative of the Religious Authority, His Eminence Sheikh Anwar Ali Al-Najafi, School Principal Allama Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Al-Najafi, and a number of scholars and educational figures.

Students presented educational and cultural performances, including Quran memorization demonstrations that reflected the school’s academic progress during its first year.

In his speech, Sheikh Anwar Ali Al-Najafi stressed the importance of combining Quranic education with modern sciences to prepare a generation grounded in both faith and knowledge. He also encouraged families and educational institutions to strengthen moral and religious values among young people.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, outstanding students were honored for achievements in Quran memorization, academics and extracurricular activities. Top-performing students also received “Digital Quran” gifts presented by Sheikh Anwar Ali al-Najafi.

Parents praised the school’s administration and teaching staff for their role in supporting students’ academic and moral development. The event concluded with the presentation of a commemorative plaque to Sheikh Anwar Ali Al-Najafi in recognition of his continued support for the institution.
