Delegation of Chinese students visits Imam Hussain Cultural Center in Islamabad
The Imam Hussain Cultural Center, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, welcomed a delegation of Chinese students studying at the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad as part of a cultural exchange visit aimed at introducing them to the life of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the enduring humanitarian message of the Karbala uprising.
During the visit, the head of the center, Dr. Muhammad Askari, presented an overview of Imam Hussain’s life and legacy, highlighting the values and principles embodied in his reform movement against injustice and tyranny. He emphasized that Imam Hussain’s stand in Karbala remains a timeless example of truth, justice, freedom, and human dignity, continuing to inspire people around the world.
The visiting students expressed great interest in learning about Imam Hussain and the humanitarian message of Karbala. They were also introduced to the academic, cultural, and intellectual activities organized by the Imam Hussain Cultural Center, along with its efforts to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue.
The visit further showcased the humanitarian and cultural projects carried out by the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain across various fields.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students received informational booklets about Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the message of Ashura as commemorative gifts marking the occasion.
