Austria-based Islamic center hosts annual Quran competition
The Islamic Center of Vienna, located in Austria’s capital, hosted its annual Quran competition as part of the “Iqra” Quranic program.
The event brought together children, teenagers, and adults from the center’s various educational programs, according to the news website Muslims Around the World.
Held in a spiritual and faith-filled atmosphere, the competition aimed to strengthen the connection of Muslim communities in Europe with the Quran through memorization, recitation, and understanding of the Holy Book.
A large number of participants took part in the event, reflecting the growing interest in Quranic education within the local Muslim community.
At the conclusion of the competition, all participants received certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts, while the top three winners were awarded cash prizes.
