International Interfaith Conference 2026 — “Hussain: The Symbol of Unity”

Organized by Arbaeen Global Networking, a project of Ahlulbayt Association UK, the conference took place on 25 April 2026 at Dewan-Al-Kafeel, Wembley, London. It brought together faith leaders, scholars, and community representatives from diverse backgrounds.

The event offered a meaningful space where conversations grew into connections and perspectives aligned with purpose—drawing inspiration from the timeless message of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). Through thoughtful discussions and shared reflections, the gathering underscored a collective commitment to understanding, respect, and unity across communities.

 

Key Reflections from Speakers

-Ayatollah Sayed Murtada Al-Kashmiri, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Al-Sistani, emphasized that Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) remains a universal symbol of unity, grounded in truth, justice, and human dignity.

-Maulana Syed Ali Raza Rizvi, President of Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Shia Europe, highlighted the importance of connecting communities through shared values and purposeful engagement.

-Hindu community leader Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji reflected that true humanity lies in mutual respect, where service and compassion transcend all differences.

-Christian community leader Father Frank Gelli emphasized the importance of sincere interfaith dialogue rooted in understanding, openness, and shared moral responsibility.

-Sikh community leader Sardar Gopaljeet Bachhu highlighted the vital role of grassroots engagement in fostering harmony and cooperation across societies.

These reflections represent more than a single event—they point to a growing movement centered on dialogue, connection, and collaboration in pursuit of a more united world.
