The Ruwad Foundation for Development and Media in Najaf—affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain—has announced the launch of its fifth cultural season for students of religious sciences. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to prepare conscientious preachers capable of addressing contemporary challenges in religious outreach and cultural engagement.

Saad Fakhr Al-Din, Director of the Foundation’s Media Unit, stated that the new season reflects the institution’s continued commitment to equipping students with the intellectual and practical tools needed for effective religious communication in a rapidly evolving context.

He explained that the launch builds on more than two years of development, following the successful completion of four previous seasons that covered a wide range of academic and knowledge-based disciplines.

He added that the opening ceremony included a comprehensive presentation outlining the curriculum for the fifth season, its main themes, and its implementation mechanisms. The event also detailed the evaluation criteria that will be applied to participating preachers and religious communicators.

This cultural season builds on earlier editions, aiming to establish a structured and integrated training pathway that strengthens the preaching skills of religious studies students while refining their academic and practical competencies. The initiative ultimately seeks to promote a more thoughtful, effective religious discourse capable of meeting the evolving needs of society.
