Mufti Gulzar: Promoting a culture of moderation through intellectual and academic engagement
Islamabad: His Eminence Mufti Gulzar Ahmed Naeemi—President of Jamaat Ahl-e-Haram in Pakistan and Director of Jamia Naeemia, Islamabad—visited the Imam Hussain Cultural Center in Islamabad.
During the visit, the Center’s Director, Dr. Muhammad Askari, briefed him on its educational and cultural programs, as well as its efforts to promote inter-sectarian harmony and strengthen values of mutual respect within society.
Mufti Gulzar praised the Center’s role in advancing academic and cultural initiatives, stressing the importance of sustaining such efforts to enhance religious awareness and foster a culture of moderation and constructive dialogue.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Center presented him with a copy of the Holy Quran as a commemorative gift. He expressed his appreciation for the gesture and wished the Center continued success in its mission.
It is noteworthy that the Imam Hussain Cultural Center, recently inaugurated, aims to build bridges with cultural, academic, and religious institutions while highlighting the humanitarian and cultural role of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain.
