Iraqi Ministry of Health announces full readiness to confront potential crises

Saleh Al-Hasnawi, Iraq’s Minister of Health, announced on Sunday that the ministry has prepared a comprehensive plan to respond to potential crises, confirming the availability of a strategic reserve of essential medicines and medical supplies.

Al-Hasnawi stated that the ministry is experienced in handling emergency situations and has developed a coordinated plan to address crises in Baghdad as well as other governorates across the country.

He explained that, through continuous monitoring and field visits to healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical warehouses during the current situation, the ministry has implemented several precautionary measures and ensured the availability of a strategic stockpile of critical medicines and medical supplies.

The minister also emphasized that healthcare personnel are fully prepared, reaffirming the ministry’s readiness to respond to any potential emergency while ensuring that the medical needs of all citizens are met.
