On Thursday, February 12, 2026, a Tunisian cultural delegation visited the Allamah Al-Hilli Center for the Revival of Ahlulbayt Heritage (peace be upon them), located within the Hilla Contemporary Museum, to learn about the center’s cultural and academic initiatives. The visit was coordinated by the International Media Center of the Media Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain.

According to our correspondent, the delegation toured the museum, where researcher Professor Saad Al-Haddad delivered a lecture on the history of the city of Hilla and its most significant cultural and scientific eras. He explained that the museum tour formed part of the delegation’s broader visit to the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain.

Professor Al-Haddad also highlighted the city’s most important religious and tourist landmarks, as well as the prominent scholars who lived there—foremost among them Allamah Al-Hilli (may God bless his soul).

Following the museum visit, the delegation toured the ancient city of Babylon, expressing admiration for its rich scientific legacy and remarkable archaeological heritage.

The delegation included a number of Tunisian university professors, intellectuals, prominent media figures, and specialists from various fields of interest.
