First Iraqi-Tunisian Cultural Forum launches at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain
The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain has witnessed the launch of the first Iraqi-Tunisian Cultural Forum in its sacred courtyard, with the participation of religious, academic, and media figures from both Iraq and Tunisia. The forum aims to lay the groundwork for joint cultural and media cooperation, strengthen communication among intellectual elites, and enhance Arab and international engagement by conveying an accurate and authentic image to the world.
Mr. Haidar Al-Mangooshi, Head of the International Media Center at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, announced that the forum was inaugurated at the shrine’s courtyard, specifically in Khatim Al-Anbiya Hall, with the attendance of a distinguished group of religious, academic, and media personalities, in addition to a number of individuals interested in cultural affairs.
He noted that the International Media Center, affiliated with the Media Department of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, works to attract influential figures from across the world. He explained that organizing this forum represents a foundational step toward sustained future initiatives aimed at strengthening joint cultural and media engagement.
Mr. Al-Mangooshi added that these efforts seek to build effective bridges of communication with Arab and international media, contributing to the accurate representation of cultural and intellectual realities to diverse audiences worldwide.
