Ministry of Foreign Affairs: JCI accreditation of Al-Warith International Foundation reinforces medicine as a humanitarian mission
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Planning Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi, announced that the Al-Warith International Foundation for Cancer Treatment has obtained international accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI). He affirmed that this achievement “embodies the vision of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain in establishing medicine as a noble humanitarian mission grounded in serving humanity.”
Dr. Al-Alawi explained that the foundation “combines the latest advancements in medical science with lofty ethical and humanitarian values,” highlighting its commitment to compassionate and professional healthcare.
He further noted that the foundation has become “a beacon of hope for cancer patients and a model to be emulated in integrated institutional work,” emphasizing that it provides specialized medical services in accordance with the highest international standards.
