Warith Al-Anbiya University joins the global publishing platform Elsevier
In a significant step that enhances its academic standing at both regional and international levels, Warith Al-Anbiya University, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, has announced the inclusion of the Warith Scientific Journal of Engineering and Technology (WSJET) in the global publishing platform Elsevier – Digital Commons.
Dr. Waqed Hamid Al-Mousawi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, stated in an interview with the official website of the Holy Shrine that WSJET, published by Warith Al-Anbiya University, has officially joined Elsevier – Digital Commons, marking an important milestone in strengthening the university’s academic presence on the international stage.
He explained that this achievement is the result of sustained strategic efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of scientific publishing, adhering to rigorous international standards of academic peer review, and adopting an open-access policy for research dissemination. These measures contribute to expanding the journal’s global reach and increasing its impact within the international research community.
Dr. Al-Mousawi emphasized that this inclusion represents a significant addition to the university’s scientific journey and reflects its advanced role in supporting scientific research and engaging with reputable international academic platforms.
