The Media Department of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain honored participants in the Third Khutwa International Photography Competition, a prominent artistic and cultural event that brought together distinguished photographers and artists from around the world to document timeless human moments and capture pivotal scenes from the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

The competition witnessed wide international participation, with 1,200 photographers from 59 countries submitting works that reflected the profound human and spiritual dimensions of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage. Through professional visual storytelling, the submitted photographs conveyed values of generosity, solidarity, and peaceful coexistence, presenting an authentic image of the pilgrimage to a global audience.

The Media Department affirmed that the competition aims to support creative talent in the field of photography and to enhance the cultural and artistic presence of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage on the international stage. It noted that the participating works collectively formed a valuable visual archive documenting one of the largest human gatherings in the world.
