As part of the Kawthar Al-Isma Festival, the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) held a celebratory event in Erbil to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), with broad participation from various religious sects and faith communities.

Sheikh Ali Al-Qarawi, the representative of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain in Kurdistan, stated that the program featured a range of religious and cultural activities. “The celebration began with a melodious recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious lecture delivered by Sheikh Zaman Al-Hasnawi, in addition to devotional hymns,” he said. “The program concluded with the distribution of gifts to volunteers from the Erbil Mawakib Committee in appreciation of their efforts in serving religious rituals.”

He added that the event was attended by a delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, headed by Mr. Fadhel Awaz, underscoring the shrine’s support for initiatives that promote the values of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence among all components of society.
