Followers and devotees of Ahlulbayt in Georgia commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) at the Imam Ali Mosque in Marneuli, regarded as the spiritual center of the Shia community in the country.

The ceremony opened with a speech by Marneuli’s Friday prayer leader, Sayyid Mir Ismail Asadov, who spoke about the noble status and spiritual virtues of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her). He highlighted her pivotal role in upholding Islamic values and emphasized that her blessed life continues to serve as a source of guidance and inspiration for all generations.

This was followed by a moving lamentation delivered by the eulogist of Ahlulbayt, Reza Jafari, whose recitation of elegies and poetry conveyed the depth of the tragedy that befell the Muslim Ummah with the martyrdom of the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). His performance added a deeply spiritual and emotional atmosphere to the gathering.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of charity food in honor of Lady Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), reflecting a spirit of solidarity, compassion, and communal unity among the attendees.
