The Warith International Cancer Treatment Foundation, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has participated for the first time in the World Hospital Federation Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland—marking a significant milestone in its international presence. The foundation represented Iraq before 1,500 healthcare leaders from 80 countries around the world.

In a statement received by the official website, the foundation noted, “The Warith International Cancer Treatment Foundation, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, participated for the first time in the World Hospital Federation Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland,” adding that it represented Iraq before more than 1,500 leaders in the global healthcare sector.

The statement continued, “One of our healthcare initiatives was highlighted as a leading model,” emphasizing that this participation demonstrates Iraq’s capacity—through pioneering institutions such as the Warith International Cancer Treatment Foundation—to advance its health sector and implement top international standards despite persistent challenges.
