Bohra community meets with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine delegation in Pakistan

A delegation from the Bohra community in Karachi met with representatives of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine at their residence in the Imam Hussain Cultural Center at Al-Kawthar University in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the delegation held discussions with Mr. Haidar Al-Mangooshi, Director of the Holy Shrine’s International Media Center; Dr. Mohammad Askari, Director of the Imam Hussain Cultural Center; and Sheikh Ali Al-Qarawi, Director of the Bayna Center for Intellectual Security. The talks focused on issues of mutual interest, particularly the possibility of launching joint cultural and media activities in Karachi.

The meeting was also attended by a media delegation from Islamabad, including prominent journalists such as Asma Shirazi. Both sides agreed to enhance media cooperation, marking the beginning of a new phase of collaboration between the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and Pakistani media institutions.

Mr. Al-Mangooshi stated that these meetings reflect the depth of human and cultural engagement that the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine seeks to promote within Muslim societies. He said, “Through this cooperation, we aim to build bridges of mutual understanding and integration in media work, and to highlight the positive image of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s humanitarian, developmental, and cultural initiatives.”

He added that this cooperation is intended to strengthen communication between the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and media institutions in Pakistan, helping to showcase the Shrine’s projects and services both inside and outside Iraq.
