Najaf: Secretary-General of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine participates in meeting of Iraq’s Holy Shrine Secretaries-General at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine
The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayechi, took part in a meeting hosted by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine (peace be upon him), which gathered the Secretaries-General of Iraq’s holy shrines. The meeting aimed to strengthen communication and enhance coordination among the holy shrines.
Mr. Al-Abayechi affirmed that “the holy shrines represent a single entity and a unified approach under the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf.” He added that such meetings have a positive impact on developing joint efforts and reflect the spirit of blessed cooperation in serving pilgrims, particularly during major pilgrimage seasons.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayyed Issa Al-Khorasani, stated that “the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) holds a fatherly position for all the shrines and the followers of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).” He emphasized that the meeting embodies the spirit of friendship and solidarity among the Secretaries-General and the servants of the holy shrines, serving as a foundation for providing the highest levels of service to pilgrims.
The meeting also included an exchange of views among the Secretaries-General of the Imam Hussain, Al-Abbas, Imam Ali, Al-Kadhimiya, and Al-Askariyain holy shrines. Discussions focused on enhancing coordination in both service and administrative areas, as well as developing mechanisms to better serve pilgrims and improve the overall conditions of the holy shrines.
