Under the patronage of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, the Department of Hussaini Rituals and Processions continued its commemorative programs celebrating the birth of the Greatest Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The event, held for the second consecutive day in the Al-Hussain Quarter of the holy city of Karbala, drew a large gathering of religious scholars, community leaders, and residents.

The ceremony opened with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a keynote address from His Eminence Sheikh Karim Al-Khazali, who highlighted the reformative, ethical, and humanitarian principles embodied in the Prophet’s message.

The celebration featured poetry recitals by renowned poets including Sayyid Ghassan Al-Quraishi and Zain Al-Abideen Al-Saeedi, who expressed their joy and reverence for the noble birth through eloquent verses. In addition, Hussaini reciters Hussein Abu Sha'ir and Ali Taher delivered spiritual chants that added a deeply religious and emotional atmosphere to the gathering.

On the sidelines of the main event, a variety of educational activities were organized for families, children, and youth. These included interactive programs and purposeful competitions, designed to instill the values and life of the Holy Prophet in the hearts of future generations.
