In preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and in coordination with the Hussaini Processions Authority at the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussain and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), the Karbala local government continues the registration of Hussaini processions and service committees.

According to the Media and Public Relations Department of the Karbala Police, the total number of registered Hussaini processions (Mawakib) has surpassed 11,070, including 127 Arab and international processions.

The department confirmed that the registration process is proceeding smoothly and in an organized manner, in line with administrative plans designed to ensure the best possible conditions for receiving pilgrims from both inside and outside Iraq.
