The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that 39 Palestinians were killed and over 100 others injured by Israeli gunfire near two aid distribution centers in the southern Gaza Strip, an area ravaged by more than 21 months of ongoing conflict.

Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal stated, “Thirty-nine Palestinians were killed and more than 100 wounded near an aid distribution center in Khan Yunis and another in northern Rafah as a result of Israeli fire.”
