The Karbala Channels Group, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has revealed the details of its extensive services during the first ten days of Muharram this year.
Engineer Mustafa Mahdi, Director of the Karbala Channels Group, stated, “The Karbala Channels Group provided a range of distinguished services in its media coverage of Muharram, including special broadcasts of the Tuwaireej Run mourning ceremonies.”
He added, “Our coverage utilized more than 45 cameras and 100 audio broadcasting sites, supported by over 200 specialized staff members. In total, we broadcast more than 120 hours of live content throughout the ten-day period.”
Mahdi further explained, “The services included comprehensive coverage of the Hussaini mourning processions, the Tuwaireej Run, and the Night of Wahsha.”
These efforts demonstrate the Karbala Channels Group’s commitment, as part of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), to delivering an exceptional and professional media experience to its audience during this significant occasion.
Note:
The Night of Wahsha means the Night of Loneliness. It refers to the first night in the grave, believed to be a moment of solitude for the deceased.
