Ummul Baneen courtyard set preparations to host Al-Arbaeen pilgrims
The Holy Shrine of Al-Abbas (PBUH) has completed the preparation works for the Ummul Baneen courtyard to host the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (PBUH) who are coming to Karbala to commemorate the Al-Arbaeen pilgrimage.
Mr. Khalil Mahdi Hanoun, the head of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage Committee, said, "The cadres of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine have completed all the preparations for the Ummul Baneen project, which is established on the northern side of the Holy Shrine, dedicated to host the Al-Arbaeen pilgrims."
He added, "We completed the final touches for the pilgrims' project by covering the courtyard with carpets, libraries, and Ziyarah books, as the place will be dedicated to accommodating the pilgrims to rest and perform the religious rituals."
Al-Hanoun concluded, "The courtyard's total area is 20 thousand m2 divided into the basement, which occupies the entire area, i.e., 10 thousand m2. The first and second floors are two halls with an area of 4000 m2 for each floor, and the central courtyard has an area of 6000 m2."
