The Maintaining Law Department affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine (PBUH) announced that (1827) surveillance cameras provided with AI services were deployed in several places in the Holy Shrine and around the city to secure the Al-Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

Eng. Naseer Abdul Ameer Yahya, head of the electronic surveillance division at the department, stated to Karbala International Agency, "The division has installed around 100 cameras in the new sites and streets according to the plan that was set. Also, cameras were installed in the Al-Aqila courtyard project and Al-Zainabi hill to secure the entrances and exits of the holy city."

He added, "The modern electronic surveillance system aims to protect the coming pilgrims, detect wanted criminals, thieves, and other security things."
