The Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain organized a theatrical performance in Kirkuk Governorate titled “The Daughter of the Prophet,” commemorating the martyrdom of the pure and virtuous Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her). The event took place at the hall of Al-Rasool Al-A’dham Center (peace be upon him and his family) in an atmosphere of sorrow and devotion to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

Department Head Professor Ali Zaki Al-Tamimi told Karbala Now News Agency that the performance depicted the injustices suffered by Lady Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) after the passing of her father, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and highlighted her steadfast defense of Islam’s message and the values of justice and truth.

He explained that the aim of the performance was to honor the esteemed position of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) in the hearts of Muslims, shed light on her noble life and sacrifices, and demonstrate how theatrical art can serve as an effective medium for promoting humanitarian and religious values—particularly among youth.

Al-Tamimi noted that the event witnessed broad attendance from diverse social and ethnic groups in Kirkuk, who expressed appreciation for the performance’s artistic quality and its meaningful portrayal of historical events.

The commemoration concluded with a collective prayer for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), as attendees reaffirmed their commitment to continuing activities that preserve the heritage of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and renew devotion to their blessed path.
